Hôtel familial chargé d’histoire. Accueil formidable en famille par le personnel. Nous avions un problème de chauffage qui a été réglé rapidement. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement. Très belle église juste à côté.

Lovely staff, food and room. The car park is a little sketchy trying to drive through a tunnel arch to park (big cars would struggle). Breakfast is served from 8am so we couldn’t have it as we had to get somewhere (earlier would be good for weekdays).

Due to a boiler breakdown we had to book a hotel for the night and I'm glad we did. The staff and the food are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The suite room is massive with a very comfy bed. If I was to very picky the bathroom is a little aged but it's still a great room. Really appreciate the stay and the staff are fabulous.

We had the afternoon tea and it was excellent. Fresh sandwiches, pastries, cakes and delicious sausage roll. Didn't like the Brioche as it doesn't lend itself to a cold filling in winter but it's also a personal choice. Well done to all the Chefs and waiting staff.

Booked this venue to celebrate my Dads 80th Birthday. There were 18 of us in total. The staff and food were amazing. They all went out of their way to make this a memorable celebration. Highly recommended

I recently had a wonderful stay at the Highworth Hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. We were accommodated in Room 4, which was fantastic. The bedding was very comfortable, and the room was impeccably clean, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was good, providing a nice start to our morning during our 1 night stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a charming and pleasant place to stay. Just a quick tip for those driving: if you have a larger vehicle, be mindful of the narrow alley that leads to the car park, as it may be a bit challenging. Overall, we had a brilliant time at the Highworth Hotel and would love to stay there again!

We went here yesterday for Sunday roast to celebrate my sons 18th birthday, right from the moment we came in until we left everyone was so friendly and helpful, I had the roast lamb it was absolutely delicious and tender, everything was cooked to perfection and generous portions, the staff came along evry so often to ask if everything was OK, we would like to thank the team at the Highworth for making us welcome , a massive compliment to the chef and his team for such a delicious meal, look forward to visiting again soon,

This is a very well appointed hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They even let us in early as we had to get ready for an afternoon event. The ironing board in the room came in handy.

This hotel I recently stayed at was a delightful experience. The food was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The bedrooms were clean and tidy, making the stay very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again in the future and I would highly recommed to family. Thank you so much, our stay was amazing and the room was perfect, we were originally booking into a Airbnb but when we arrived we couldn't get hold of the host. We looked on the Web and found the Highworth, they saved us, we were treated like royalty. I would book with them again and tell all my friends and family. Thank you again

Period hotel. I had a very nice room high in the hotel. Service was excellent with slick breakfast. Right in centre of town. Car park has a very very narrow entrance which is hard to spot if you don't know what to look for.

I stayed here on the 17th July 2024 This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, the staff was very friendly, the rooms are very nice and the bed is the comfiest I’ve slept in. I can’t recommend this hotel enough

Oh dear! Needs some TLC desperately. Nailed down windows, on a humid night, not good. Bed rock hard, as were the pillows, not conducive to sleeping. Grubby, filthy net curtains needed disposing of!. Though in fairness to the staff they were friendly and tried very hard to go the extra mile! Definitely not worth the £140 odd per night.

Something of a hidden gem 💎 of a restaurant. In fact, a complete "Tardis" - reasonably unassuming, attractive, classic "Queen Anne" facade with a modern, slightly gauche interior decor - with bar, dining room, private dining room and terrace / beer garden. Parking 🅿️ at the rear.

Visited the hotel for afternoon tea as a birthday present. Having had afternoon teas at other locations on several occasions, this one was by far the best to date, service was exceptional, we were made to feel welcome by the freindly staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent, everything home made and fresh. Would recommend this event without hesitation. Thank you highworth, already looking forward to the next visit.

The best and most helpful staff, good beer at good prices, food very good, be good if they could do Monday and Tuesday night food as well, breakfast starts an hour and a half later than I like, and entrance to car park very narrow, all in all lovely people luvly hotel.

Lovely place for drinks and food. Rear courtyard is the best on a sunny evening. Good choice of drinks and a substantial food menu. One of the best if not the best in Highworth. Well worth a visit. Haven't stayed in the rooms as haven't had a need too but I would guess they are high quality too. Good work to all the staff and owners who make The Highworth the success it is 5 stars to you!

The staff are friendly and helpful and its nice to see a family run hotel, we were here for a wedding it was all set up so nice and the garden was seated well as it was a very sunny day.

My wife and I had dinner at the Highworth, a couple of weeks ago, on the first night of their new menu (a point we were not aware of at the time). Not feeling hungry enough to tackle three courses, we settled on having mains and desserts. My wife had the lamb rack, whilst I settled on the sirloin steak, both perfectly cooked and equally delicious. To follow, her indoors went for the passionfruit brulee, whilst I had the sticky toffee pudding. Once again, both were well received and plates cleared. We didn't book, just popped in on the spur of the moment in celebration of purchasing a new car, and were well attended to on the night. We will definitely be visiting again. Cannot provide a review of the hotel's rooms as we did not stay at the hotel, being residents of the town.

They do lovely food here. We are lucky to have such a nice hotel in Highworth. The staff are charming and all the food I have ever had here has been really tasty and fresh. Local people need to support this gem of a hotel.
